Looking for a quality, budget friendly Christmas gift for a toddler? I like to give our kids one simple toy that is a reasonable price. I’m not big on lots of plastic toys… I like to keep it simple and sweet.
These are the my top favorite toddler gifts my kids have gotten through the years.
These are simple gifts that are fun to play with and (hopefully) shouldn’t break too fast! The best part? They are all under $30.

1. Munchkin Mozart Magic Cube by Munchkin
My son has had this for quite a long time and it still works! That’s a simple win for a toddler toy for a boy ;). Of course I can’t garuntee that it won’t break, but so far so good in our house. Anyway, this is super fun cube that lights up and plays Mozart music. You can press the different instrument buttons to choose what instruments are playing the song. This is my go-to gift to give a toddler – not a lot of pieces, not junky, plus Mozart music – it’s a win!
2. Farm Hoppers Award Winning Inflatable Toddler Safe Bouncing Brown Horse by Farm Hoppers
At the time of me writing this, this is only $25…hopefully it stays at this price! My son looooves this thing. He started to really get into it at age 2.
3. Charlie & Lola:V11-Need Ice Skates (DVD)
Our kids have alllll loved Charlie and Lola. Right now my almost three year old will sit for as long as you leave it on…it’s crazy! This one is a favorite. As I write this, it’s only $4.99, so really, it’s a super great budget gift or you could give a couple of them to your favorite toddler.
4. Melissa & Doug Deluxe Pounding Bench Toddler Toy (Wooden Toy, With Mallet, Great Gift for Girls and Boys by Melissa & Doug
I don’t know what it is about this thing. My son loves it! I keep thinking we can get rid of it, but he still loves to hammer away at it.
5. Melissa & Doug, Let’s Play House! Dust! Sweep! Mop! Pretend Play Set (6 Pieces, Broom, Mop, Duster, and Organizing Stand, Great Gift for Girls and Boys – Best for 3, 4, 5, and 6 Year Olds) by Melissa & Doug
We’ve had this set for years and my kids still love to help me “clean” using their own set of tools!
6.Travel Doodle – Neon by AquaDoodle
This one is fun and practical! It uses water, so it’s not messy. We had one of these for my daughter and used it sooooo much. Such a great gift!

This one is super simple. The illustrations are super whimsical and I love the way the author weaves a few words into a story.
This is one of our favorites! We are actually planning to get our youngest this book for Christmas. Our first copy got worn out after our first two kids!
